Salary: $107,000-134,000 plus annual target bonus

Position Summary:
The Project Engineer defines and delivers all projects assigned as well as provides support to the company’s distribution facilities and manufacturing plants. This position ensures that assigned projects and initiatives are successfully transitioned to post-production support by the local facilities and plants.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Lead assigned projects inclusive of requesting resources based on the project ‘s needs, managing the work activities of the resources, controlling the project schedules and financial performance, reporting project management methodology
Implement the assign projects to the satisfaction of management and key stakeholders
Create a project plan and a communication plan, involving management and key stakeholders as well as impacted departments
Communicate to management and key stakeholders the status of the project including expected outcomes and project risks
Monitor the status of specific project dependencies related to the overall project incorporating such constraints into the overall plan
Adhere to the company’s Engineering Standards and Procedures
Complete assigned work according to the timelines, accurately and effectively
Demonstrate equipment functions and features to front-line employees
Implement change to achieve the company’s business goals
Execute company’s long-term vision through participation in continuous process improvements
Reinforce and create opportunities to facilitate ongoing learning with the manufacturing teams, i.e., how to run a production line including troubleshooting, maintaining and fixing, etc.
Collaborate with the business on automating and streamlining processes
Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related degree with 6 plus years of project management experience or HS Diploma/GED with 9 plus years of project management experience
Experience with SAP or other ERP equivalent business processes
Self-driven and experience working independently
Strong collaboration, relationship building and customer service skills
Experience working cross-functionally
Process and continuous improvement mindset
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem solving skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
Expert proficiency in gathering business requirements, process flows and use cases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient Microsoft office skills i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to work off-hours support as needed
Ability to travel up to 50%
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Master’s degree
Experience in the food and/or beverage industry
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Food safety experience
Change management experience
