Position Summary:

The Mulesoft Developer is a developer position within the Enterprise IT structure. The primary focus of this position is the development of new solutions and the enhancement of existing solutions. The environment includes applications, integrations, software and data administration and management.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Provides analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and/or existing business applications and software. Development will include interface and integration work.

  • Ensures all applications are secured to protect sensitive data, applications provide access only to qualified personnel, and all consideration is given to maintaining the security of the application and its data.

  • Collaborates with the business for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc., and participates in issue tracking and resolution for all HR and Payroll systems.

  • Develops/enhances custom development, application interfaces, and application-based portal and platform configurations through the use of the application tools, SQL, and any other means in use by the team.

  • Ensures quality, timeliness and proper use of HR information retrieved from systems and developing enhancements for systems

  • Ensures security of HR and Payroll information through established security protocol

  • Research new techniques in the development of systems and maintain knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields.

  • Assists as needed for medium to large size projects where development or enhancements are required.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum 6+ years’ experience in a combination of the following areas: application and system development and integration, data modeling/querying/analysis, database management and design, and technical documentation OR High School Diploma and 9+ years’ experience in a combination of the above areas in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint platform and suite of tools for development of API based data and application interfaces and integrations.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to effectively work with business users to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.

  • Strong customer orientation, sense of urgency in getting things done, and ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to review numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.

  • Ability to handle confidential material.

  • Highly focused attention to detail; vigilant in data analysis to arrive at correct conclusions, and results oriented.

  • Ability to remain flexible and multi-task while adapting to an ever-changing environment.

  • Familiar with Change Management, SDLC

  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

  • Knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies

  • Holds 1+ Mulesoft Certifications

  • Experience with mentoring others in a highly collaborative environment

  • Familiar with modern security practices
