Position Summary:

The Customer Capability Manager strengthens the capabilities of existing and future leaders. This position delivers internal initiatives, i.e., onboarding, skill development, leadership development, and internal certifications. The Customer Capability Manager creates, launches, manages and refines programs for multiple audiences that are aligned with the company’s values. This position works closely with the leadership team and impacts all employees within the company.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Develop, execute, and continuously evolve a comprehensive and integrated learning and development strategy that drives high-performance and elevates the employee experience

  • Utilize adult learning principles to develop and facilitate content

  • Build curricula and training materials for many management and leadership development programs that promote leadership capabilities aligned with the company’s values and behavioral expectations

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on program results ensuring program objectives are met

  • Ensure initiatives are driving program growth and performance

  • Monitor relevant metrics and KPIs to proactively diagnose and address key talent trends across the company

  • Evaluate, identify and partner with vendors as needed to procure/customize content

  • Create and execute reinforcement materials, tools, and/or follow up sessions to support adoption of training concepts

  • Collaborate with the business to ensure processes, programs, and services are implemented and the needs of the company

  • Conduct needs analyses to determine long-term training plans

  • Guide subject matter experts on the design and delivery of the company specific training content

  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education or related field and 6 plus years of sales and account management, and/or learning and development, and/or instructional design experience, or HS Diploma/GED and 9 plus years of sales and account management, and/or learning and development and/or instructional design experience

  • Strong program and/or project management experience

  • Experience developing creating training content

  • Ability to think creatively and encourage innovation

  • Excellent virtual and classroom facilitation skills with large groups within all levels of an organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborations skills

  • Knowledge of change management, motivation, generative culture, growth mindset, and leadership pipeline models and tools

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Proficient in full Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), iOS, Android and mobile solutions i.e., tablets, iPads, smartphones, etc.

  • Travel up to 30% travel

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Design Certification

  • Master’s degree

  • People leadership experience

  • Software knowledge of training design software, such as Adobe Premiere, Articulate, Vyond, Captivate

  • Proficiency in Video Editing and E-Learning Production

  • Experience with Social Media platforms

  • Experience with early in career and/or rotational development programs

  • Cross-functional experience, in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.
